Certificate Program

This Oracle Certification course will provide students with the knowledge and skills necessary to become certified as an Oracle Certified Associate (OCA) for Oracle Database 12c. Topics include an introduction to Oracle Database SQL, using statements and functions to manage data, as well as the fundamentals of database administration. Students will install, administer, and understand the Oracle database architecture and how its components work and interact with one another. Students should have a working knowledge of MS Word and Excel, Internet navigation, and a desire to learn about and work with data management.

This program is designed for:

  • students who want to take the first steps in gaining foundation knowledge and practical experience in setting up, administering and troubleshooting an Oracle database
  • students who are seeking certification at the entry level and/or
  • students who endeavor to increase database productivity with demonstrated skill proficiency resulting from successful completion of the Oracle Database Administrator Certified Associate credential
